Insurance Accepted

I am currently in-network with the following insurance carriers:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • United Healthcare

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

If you have insurance through one of these carriers, your sessions might be fully or partly covered. It all depends on your specific policy. Coverage can vary based on factors such as deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and authorization requirements.

Since insurance plans vary, you should reach out to your insurance carrier to confirm:

  • Mental health benefits

  • Copay or coinsurance amounts

  • Deductible amounts, if applicable

  • Any session limits or authorization requirements

We will make a reasonable effort to support you in navigating your insurance. We know that in some cases it can be difficult to understand what's covered and what isn't. However, the responsibility for understanding coverage ultimately lies with the client.

Self-Pay and Out-of-Network Fees

If you do not have insurance or are using out-of-network benefits, self-pay options are available.

Session fees:

  • Initial session: $175

  • Ongoing therapy sessions: $150 per session

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Self-pay can be a good option if you:

  • Prefer not to use insurance

  • Have a high deductible

  • Want increased privacy regarding diagnosis and treatment

  • Are using out-of-network benefits

Superbills and Out-of-Network

If you are using out-of-network benefits, superbills are provided upon request.

A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the information insurance companies need for reimbursement. After each session, a superbill will be sent to you. Submit the document to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.

Please note:

  • Reimbursement is not guaranteed

  • Insurance companies determine reimbursement amounts

  • Clients are responsible for sending superbills to their insurance companies

EMDR Therapy and Session Frequency

Most therapy sessions occur weekly, which helps keep things consistent and allows you to continue making progress. However, EMDR therapy often involves special considerations related to pacing, preparation, and integration.

Because of this:

  • Session frequency depends on your individual needs

  • You may benefit from more frequent sessions during certain phases

  • Or you may need to space sessions out to allow time for processing and integration

We make scheduling decisions together. We focus on your needs, readiness, and therapy goals. There is no pressure to meet more or less frequently than what you are comfortable with.

Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit cards

  • Debit cards

  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA)

  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
